In this virtuosic recital, she shows us an aspect of composer Sergei Rachamninov’s personality that is often overlooked: his boundless admiration for Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries! With his arrangements and variations, the «Last Romantic» plays with musical fabrics woven by the great baroque masters and demonstrates that these immortal geniuses aren’t done taking our breath away. Ludwig van Beethoven on the other hand leaves us absolutely breathless by ending his  «Farewell» («Adieux») on a vivacissimamente: the liveliest of all tempi!
