Familljefestival «Chrëschtdag» 16.–17.12.

Age: 0–106

It doesn’t have to be «Oh Christmas Tree» – but it can be… For most people, Christmastime and Advent are a period for beloved rituals and plenty of music. Combined with lots of resounding Christmas surprises, these traditions have their place at the Philharmonie as well. After last season’s success, the Education Department brings the glitter and glow of Yuletide back to the Philharmonie in 2023/24 – with amusing and contemplative stories, familiar carols and new discoveries, numerous activities for listening and joining in, and lots of inspiration for your individual holiday soundtrack.

Not all presents have been delivered by the Christmas tree yet... Our team is currently concocting various events and surprises to take place in the Foyer – all free of charge of course! Keep watching this page and our calendar for updates as the Festival draws closer.

Environmentally-conscious festivals
The Philharmonie Luxembourg is committed to building a sustainable future for the next generations. To achieve this goal, every gesture counts! That’s why we’ve decided to take a few special measures for the Familljefestival. We’ve optimised our lighting arrangements, reduced our volume of printed programmes and opted for reusable signage.
